Hosted by Eugene D. Toussaint, Esq., AWS Founder and President, and featuring Jonathan Z. Cohen, Esq., host of Inside The Inspired and resilience coach for legal professionals, the evening will unveil our next chapter: a movement where legal knowledge meets culture, creativity, and community.
Every dollar raised from this event supports our $30,000 goal — funding AWS’s new website, free legal education tools, and community programming.

🌐 The Launch of AWS 2.0
This November marks the debut of our new website, attorneyswithswag.org — a digital platform built to transform how people learn, apply, and share legal knowledge.
Our mission has always been simple: turn legal knowledge into power, and power into change.
This new site brings that mission to life with two major tools at its core:
1. The Resource Room
Imagine a 311 for the law. The Resource Room is a one-stop legal hub where anyone can find answers, guides, and templates to take real-world action.
It breaks down confusing systems — housing, family, and criminal court — into plain, actionable steps, designed by attorneys who live this work every day.
Explore examples of our approach:
Whether you’re fighting an eviction, understanding a court summons, or trying to protect your rights, the Resource Room turns legal confusion into clarity — and puts the law back in your hands.
2. The Learning Center (CLEs with Swag)
For attorneys, learning the law shouldn’t mean sitting through another dry lecture. That’s why AWS is launching the Learning Center, where Continuing Legal Education (CLE) meets creativity.
Through our partnership with the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County, AWS is building a CLE-accredited platform that allows attorneys to earn credits through dynamic, culturally grounded video content.
From conversations about bail reform and wrongful arrests to workshops on client advocacy, the Learning Center connects legal professionals to the communities they serve — and keeps them inspired to make change.
It’s CLE made fresh, relevant, and Free.99 — just how we like it.

🏙️ The Road Ahead: Building NYC’s First Legal Learning Hub
The launch of AWS 2.0 is just the beginning.
Our long-term goal is to open New York City’s first Legal Learning Hub — a physical space where legal education, art, and activism intersect.
The Hub will serve as a home base for legal empowerment:
Live workshops and “Know Your Rights” trainings
Podcast recordings and community storytelling
Free consultations and small-group legal sessions
A place where people can come to learn the rules — and rewrite them.
We envision a space that not only educates but mobilizes communities — a place where neighbors, students, artists, and lawyers collaborate to make justice accessible to all.
